Anti-corruption in doing business: an assessment from enterprise perspective

This study is part of the project entitled “Promoting the application of international standards on business integrity to enhance international integration and improve business environment in Vietnam”, conducted by the Centre for Social Governance Research (CENSOGOR) – partner of Transparency International in Vietnam, in collaboration with Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policy Research (VEPR), with the support of the Prosperity Fund of the United Kingdom managed by the British Embassy in Hanoi.The report aims at studying corporate experience in applying and implementing anti-corruption policies and procedures at non-state enterprises registered and currently operating in Vietnam, including FDI enterprises and private enterprises.

Report of study: Analysis of corruption risks for investors in Vietnam

The report of study: analysis of corruption risks for investors in Vietnam was made possible by the financial support of the UK’s South East Asia Prosperity Fund, under framework of the project “Promoting the application of international standards on business integrity to enhance international integration and improve business environment in Vietnam”. The study was implemented by the Centre for Social Governance Research (CENSOGOR) – partner of Transparency International in Vietnam, and Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) with support and contribution from the ASEAN CSR Network from June 2016 to March 2017.The aim of the Study has been to assess the experiences and mitigation strategies of foreign invested companies in Vietnam in relation to high risk business activities, which may be relevant to or indicative of corruption offences under Vietnamese law and applicable foreign laws.

Transparency in Corporate Reporting: Assessing the 30 largest Companies in Vietnam

Transparency in Corporate Reporting: Assessing the 30 largest Companies in Vietnam – TRAC Vietnam 2017, was conducted by Towards Transparency (TT) for the first time in 2017.With the aim to promote the best practices,in line with international standards, and to support companies to better communicate their commitment to anti-corruption and transparency to their stakeholders, the report assesses companies’ disclosure practices on three dimensions: (i) reporting on Anti- corruption programme, (ii) organisational transparency, (iii) country- by- country reporting.The report assessed 30 largest companies chosen according to the 2015 VNR500 list. Research for this report was conducted from September 2016 to January 2017 by a team of consultants and a researcher from TT.
